AN OCKENDON Labour councillor has resigned, triggering a probable by-election.
Councillor Ryan Polston published a letter to the chair of Thurrock Labour Constituency Party on his Facebook page.
Cllr Polston said: “On Monday 6th January 2025, I tendered my resignation as a Councillor for Ockendon.
I want to thank everyone who voted for me in May 2024 for their support. It has been great representing Ockendon over the last 8 months at the Council.”
