REFORM UK MP for South Basildon and East Thurrock, James McMurdock, rose on the floor of the House of Commons to ask question on Islamophobia.

Mr McMurdock asked: “To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, pursuant to the Answer of 22 January 2025 to Question 23915 on Islamophobia, what her planned timetable is for providing further detail on the Government’s approach to tackling Islamophobia.
Housing and Communities Minister, Alex Norris replied: “Ensuring that British Muslims are safe, and feel safe, and standing up to Islamophobia is a top priority for this Government. Careful thought and continued community engagement is required to achieve this.
“We will set out further plans in due course”.
