GLOBAL superstar Justin Timberlake’s world tour date in Essex is about to get even bigger as more artists are added to the line up.

The 10-time GRAMMY Award winner is headlining brand-new festival Chelmsford City Live on Friday July 4 with final tickets on sale now via ticketmaster.co.uk

It has already been revealed pop sensation Jess Glynne will be special guest on the night and it is now announced that Norwegian singer-songwriter Dagny and four-piece collective CTRL will also join the bill.

With an affinity for catchy melodies and energetic songs, Dagny is currently one of the most exciting and in-demand pop artists. More than one billion plays via streaming services, sold-out headline shows all over Europe, and more than two million monthly listeners on Spotify, confirm that the upbeat Tromsø native consistently succeeds in making the day a little better for everyone who listens to her music.

And ahead of Dagny’s set, CTRL will kick off the night. Amari, George, Luca and Benjy came together via their love of street dance. Taking inspiration from classic pop bands like *NSYNC, whilst infusing street dance choreography with vocal harmonies.

2025 marks the inaugural Chelmsford City Live taking place over three days at Chelmsford City Racecourse. Justin Timberlake kicks off the festival bringing his The Forget Tomorrow World Tour to Essex, followed on Saturday July 5 with a headlining set from multi-award-winning Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Duran Duran, and Olly Murs’ biggest homecoming show on Sunday July 6.

A multi-talented entertainer, recording artist, record producer, songwriter and actor, Justin Timberlake has sold more than 54 million albums and 63 million singles globally throughout his career, with a further 70 million records as the lead vocalist of *NSYNC.

Justin’s award wins include 10 GRAMMYs across the pop, dance and R&B genres and four EMMYs, plus an Oscar nomination in 2017 for hit record Can’t Stop The Feeling. Last year, Timberlake released his sixth studio album Everything I Thought It Was, featuring 18 brand new tracks including hit singles Selfish and No Angels.

Chelmsford City Live is presented in partnership with Chelmsford City Racecourse and Live Nation promoters Cuffe and Taylor.

Racecourse Commercial Director Nathan Holmes said: “With Dagny and CTRL joining the amazing Jess Glynne and our global superstar headline artist Justin Timberlake, the opening night of Chelmsford City Live is going to be incredible. We cannot wait to kick of the very first Chelmsford City Live in style, on what will certainly be an historic night for Essex.”

Cuffe and Taylor promoter Ben Hatton added: “We’re delighted to add two more fantastic artists to the line-up for Chelmsford City Live with Dagny and CTRL. This brand new festival is going to be brilliant and we can’t wait to welcome thousands of live music fans to the racecourse.”
