START Thurrock is delighted to be bringing The Community Big Lunches back to Thurrock for summer 2025 along with our partners at Thurrock Council, Impulse Leisure, Active Essex and Thurrock CVS.
These fantastic outdoor events are a chance to get together with the people in your community for an afternoon of outdoor activities where we’ll be adding our special Start Thurrock twist with different acts and creative activities at each location.
Impulse Leisure and Active Essex will be putting on physical activities, sports and games for you to try, plus there will be stalls, face painting, music, performances and a DJ!
This year, we are also launching a brand new Big Lunch in Blackshots in Grays!
We are also thrilled to be supporting the Tilbury Picnic in the Park organised by the Tilbury Riverside Project.
