LAKESIDE Shopping Centre, part of SGS Group, is set to further diversify its premium retail line-up and cement its credentials as a leading hub for fashionable, desirable jewellery with the launch of Jewells, a disruptive new concept from the founder of global accessories brand Lovisa.
The 1,000 sq ft store, is one of seven UK Jewells locations launching on the same day as part of the brands’ official debut. Its arrival marks the sixth new leasing already confirmed at Lakeside this year, following recent announcements including Reiss, Wendy’s, Chipotle and Popeyes.

Jewells’ fully immersive space will provide Lakeside’s customers with access to a vast range of jewellery, luxury piercing and fine line tattoo services, personal styling appointments as well as a ‘Make Your Own Memory’ stack bar – an interactive feature designed to drive dwell time and create a personalised shopping experience.
Leah Uka, Chief Brand Officer at Jewells, said: “Lakeside is a key location for our launch strategy – a vibrant centre with strong footfall, a great mix of brands and a loyal customer base that aligns with our target audience. Jewells has been created to provide cutting edge, on trend premium jewellery, and we’re excited to bring our unique concept to this part of the UK.”
Rob Jewell, Managing Director, Asset Management at Pradera Lateral added: “Bringing Jewells to Lakeside highlights the ongoing appeal of the centre to ambitious brands looking to make a splash in the UK retail market. As we continue to elevate the centre’s tenant mix, our focus remains on attracting fresh and experience-led concepts that resonate with today’s shoppers. Jewells is exactly the kind of brand that supports our ambition to make Lakeside the region’s leading retail and lifestyle destination.”
With ambitious growth plans over the next 12 months, Jewells has partnered with Lakeside to deliver a launch that aims to drive successes for both the brand and Lakeside. Jewells will join the likes of Swarovski, Beaverbrooks, Chisholm Hunter and Thomas Sabo in the centre, further enhancing its line-up of fashionable and fine jewellery retailers.
