A HOME care provider serving Hertfordshire, Surrey and Essex has marked almost a decade in the industry by calling for sector reform – seeking urgent action from decision-makers to safeguard the future of care.

Founded by Lausa Biragi nine years ago, You & I Care has become an award-winning care provider delivering high-quality, personalised services for adults and the elderly who wish to remain in the comfort of their own homes.

Offering flexible care options, from day care to 24/7 live-in support across Brentwood, Chelmsford, Surrey and St Albans, the home care provider tailors services to meet individual needs.

Lausa, who herself has over 20 years of hands-on experience in the industry, has emerged as a leading voice in the care sector, contributing to national conversations on key issues such as the cessation of international recruitment, mental health in the workforce and the rising costs of care delivery following the National Insurance increase.

She wants to mark You & I Care’s anniversary by encouraging others within the sector to follow suit – using their platform to call for change on what Lausa calls a “perilous point” for the industry.

Lausa said: “Reaching nine years is a testament to the commitment and hard work of my teams. I started You & I Care to show how care could – and should – be done. Nearly a decade later, we’re not only thriving across three counties, we’re also advocating for those without a voice – both service users and frontline staff.

“My mission is no longer about just building a successful business, it’s about using my platform to support care workers, influence policy and push for systemic change at the highest level. The sector is at a perilous point – we need urgent action from key decision-makers to safeguard the future of care.”
