


THREE people have been arrested during two co-ordinated early morning raids by officers from Thurrock Neighbourhood Policing Team investigating the supply of drugs in the South Ockendon area.
Following the execution of drugs warrants today, 19 August, in Hall Road, Aveley, and in Daiglen Drive, South Ockendon, two men and a woman were arrested.
At the Aveley address, 34-year-old Aveley man was arrested on suspicion of on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A and Class B drugs and a 27-year-old South Ockendon woman was arrested on on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and of possession of Class B or Class C drugs.
In South Ockendon, a 25-year-old South Ockendon man was arrested on suspicion of suspicion of possession of Class A drugs.
During searches of the two properties, neighbourhood policing officers recovered quantities of suspected heroin, cocaine and cannabis bud. They also seized a bundle of cash, mobile phones and a knuckle-duster.

“We focus on identifying, investigating and tackling these crimes and related anti-social behaviour but we need information from the public to help us do so.
“Please tell us what you know about criminal activity and anti-social behaviour in your area. Car number plates, names, CCTV and doorbell images are particularly helpful but any information related to crime and criminal activity may be useful to us.
“Please don’t assume we already know.”
