CELEBRATIONS are taking place at Ormiston Park Academy this morning as students receive excellent GCSE results.
The academy, based in Aveley and part of Ormiston Academies Trust, has shared its pride as its Year 11s reap the rewards of two years of hard work and dedication to their studies.

Among individual student achievements, the academy achieved particularly highly in subjects including English, sociology and French.
The students are now celebrating their results before they get ready to take their next steps in education.
Individual achievements from the morning include:
· Nifemi who successfully achieved 9s in biology, physics, chemistry, computer science and mathematics and 8s in religious studies and sociology.
· Radia who was awarded 9s in English language, literature and biology, 8s in chemistry, mathematics and physics and a 7 in history.
· Oskaras who achieved excellent passes in all his GCSEs and has been selected to play for Great Britain’s under 18 men’s basketball team.
· Daniel D who was awarded a grade 9 in chemistry, 8s in biology and physics and 7s in geography, mathematics, religious studies and English.
· Zuriel secured 8s in mathematics, chemistry and physics and 7s in geography and biology.
· Tanisha achieved 8s in chemistry, biology, physics, maths, English and history.
