THIS autumn, Basildon Council is launching a series of Resident Roadshows designed to bring decision-makers closer to the people and ensure every resident has a voice in shaping the borough’s future.
As part of the council’s continued commitment to transparency, accountability, and community engagement, the roadshows offer two new ways for residents to connect directly with local leaders and services: ‘5 in 25’ and ‘Meet the Leader and Team’.
What’s Happening?
5 in 25 Roadshows Fast, focused, and impactful – the 5 in 25 sessions give residents just 25 minutes to have their say, ask questions, and access support. Key benefits include:

Promoting transparency and open communication
Meet the Leader and Team These sessions offer a rare chance to speak directly with the Leader of the Council and Cabinet Members. Discuss the borough’s top priorities – from housing and regeneration to safety and business support – and be part of the conversations that are shaping tomorrow’s Basildon.
