A MAN was taken to hospital following a serious assault in Grays.
A cordon was put in place in London Road at 4am on Saturday morning.
Essex Police responded to the incident and a man was taken to hospital for treatment as a result.
An Essex Police spokesperson said: “Officers responded to reports of a serious assault in London Road, Grays, in the early hours of yesterday morning.
“One man was taken to hospital for treatment.
“Our enquiries continue.”
