ESSEX Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (EPUT) is asking local people to provide feedback and ideas to shape the Trust’s services.

The Trust provides care to more than 100,000 patients at any one time. It provides mental and physical health services, and learning disability services, across Essex and parts of Suffolk and Bedfordshire.

Working closely with patients, their families and our partners is enabling EPUT to learn from their experiences to drive sustained change, and the EPUT Forum is one of the ways in which we invite people to contribute to this transformation.

The next EPUT Forum is on Tuesday 10 February from 11am to 1pm. It will be held online.

It will be led by Matthew Sisto, Director of Patient Experience, and two Lived Experience Ambassadors, who have brought a wealth of lived experience to numerous initiatives across the Trust. Lived Experience Ambassadors are volunteers who have personal experience as service users or caregivers.

The meeting will cover:

  • The future of the EPUT Forum – what would you like this space to look like?
  • Q&A with Matthew Sisto about the Patient Experience team’s role and priorities, and how the Trust works collaboratively with people with lived experience, clinical teams and partners to improve patient experience.
  • Looking after your wellbeing when taking part in NHS involvement activities.

It’s a great chance to:

  • Share your views and ideas
  • Connect with others across EPUT and the local community
  • Help shape future work together.

There will also be a quiet room available during the session for anyone who needs a break or some extra support.

For more information about the EPUT Forum and to register for the meeting on 10 February, email [email protected] – include ‘EPUT Forum’ in the subject header.

More than 300 people with lived experience of health services are ensuring patient voice remains at the heart of transformation at EPUT and there are many ways in which people can get involved.
