A 34-year-old has been charged with the theft of hundreds of pounds of clothing and cleaning products from stores in Lakeside shopping centre and Chelmsford, following a neighbourhood policing team investigation.
Gevoni Lewis, of Goodwyn Avenue in Mill Hill, is accused of stealing £615 clothing from Next in Chelmsford on 7 November 2025 and, on the same day, £113.59 of cleaning products from Robert Dyas in Lakeside
He is due to appear before Basildon magistrates on 30 April 2026.
