OFFICERS, investigating a collision in Hume Avenue, Tilbury are appealing for witnesses.
The collision happened at around 9.50am on Saturday 2 May and involved a Black Ford Focus and a white Transit tipper truck. The Transit left the scene before officers arrived.
Two people, a man and a young child, were injured in the collision.
Officers are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the crash and would like to hear from anyone who witnessed it and anyone who have any Dash Cam or other footage. We are also keen to trace the driver of the Transit.

*A 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving a motor vehicle while above the limit. He has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
