MATALAN is celebrating the reopening of its newly upgraded Thurrock store, following a major refurbishment as part of its continued investment in enhancing the in-store experience for customers.
All store departments have been completely redesigned and repositioned to create a more
open, modern and easy-to-shop environment. Internal walls have been reconfigured to maximise space, allowing each department to feel spacious and accessible for customers browsing the latest ranges.
The store has received new anthracite fixtures, in line with Matalan’s latest concept design which includes high fashion areas now featuring brand new tables, grey mannequins and display plinths, alongside illuminated lightboxes and high-level directional signage to help guide customers effortlessly around the store. This investment has elevated both the presentation of products and the overall shopping experience.
Several key areas of the store have also been enhanced. Customers will benefit from brand new till points designed to improve flow and reduce wait times, while the fitting rooms have been completely refurbished to provide a more comfortable and modern experience. The external signage has also been upgraded, giving the store a fresh and contemporary new look from the moment customers arrive.
In addition to fashion and homeware, the Thurrock store offers a strong range of concessions, including Little Mistress, Blue Vanilla, Totally Toys, Card Factory and DCK. Customers can also take advantage of a range of convenient services, including Click & Collect, DPD parcel services and an Amazon Locker.
Located in Thurrock, the store benefits from free on-site parking for up to three hours, making it easy for customers to visit and shop at their convenience.To mark the reopening, a launch event will take place on Saturday 9th May from 9am onwards. Customers are invited to visit the store and explore the new space, with early arrivals receiving the chance to pick up a golden envelope containing exclusive discounts.
Special promotions and hidden vouchers will also be available throughout the reopening
week, ensuring more customers can join in the celebrations.
