PATHWAYS is hosting the annual Working With Children jobs fair dedicated to a wide variety of roles in a range of work settings involving children.
The jobs fair will take place on Thursday 21 May from 12pm-1pm at Pathways located just in the entrance of the Basildon Centre, SS14 1DL.

Employment opportunities available at the fair will include:
Nurseries
Forest pre-school
Sports clubs
Teaching assistants
Childminding
School crossing patrol (lollipop people)
Foster caring
Activities for children and young people with complex disabilities or life-limiting conditions
Supporting children and young people who have experienced domestic abuse
Residents will also be able to sign up for free courses designed to help start or develop a career working with children. Advice and support will also be available for those looking to return to work after having children.
A council spokesperson said:
“Supporting children and young people starts with supporting the people who care for them. This jobs fair is a fantastic opportunity for residents to explore rewarding careers such as teaching assistants, foster carer and much more, while also accessing free expert advice.
