CONGRATULATIONS to Ivan Ijomoni who represented Nigeria at the African Junior Championships in Oran, Algeria. The Thurrock Swimming Club member, who is also supported by the club’s partner Impulse Leisure, had a fantastic championship.
Ivan, who is 15, was swimming against 18 year olds, but made the 200 medley final and achieved personal best times in most of his races.
This was his first international call up, but did Nigeria and Thurrock proud.
