Grays Athletic have released eight players from their current squad.

Manager Julian Dicks has been considering who to keep on, to take the club forward. The club are currently waiting to find out if they will play in the Ryman Premier league next season. The decision by the Ryman league has been delayed until next week at the earliest.

Goalkeepers Preston Edwards and Glynn Garner have been told they will not have their contracts renewed.

They join Gavin Hoyte, Alex Rhodes Jamie Guy, Wayne Gray, Richard Graham and Jordan Wilson who have all left the Recreation Ground.

Some players like Kenny Davis and Tom Harvey are in negotiation.

The club is also appealing for players under 20 to get in touch if they would like to be considered for the team.

The club have also yet to officially announce where the Blues will play next season, although one possibility which was a groundshare with Tilbury appears to have been ruled out.
