EAST Thurrock United continued their promotion push with a last gasp victory against Regent.
Two goals by Frankie Merrifield (36′ pen and 90) secured all three points for the Rocks.
Brightlingsea Regent’s scorer was Jake Turner (80′)
The result leaves East Thurrock in fourth place, just four points off the top.
They return to league action next Saturday away at Cray Wanderers.
