THURROCK has returned to the top of the Covid-19 table.
The “good news” is that the number of cases has declined by 10% to 2172.
This continues to confirm that we may be in a for a very difficult January and underline why the authorities have declared that the whole county has to be treated as the scene of a “major incident”.
Remember, these figures relate to December 28th and not today (January 2nd)

Staff Reporter? The author clearly didn’t want to leave their name on what can only be described as scaremongering.
No explanation to what the numbers represent. What is the definition of “cases”? What do the numbers in dated columns represent? Are they
the total number of people with a positive result to a test? How many had symptoms? How many were false positives? How many people died as a result of not being able to continue hospital treatment for non covid conditions? How many deaths were classed as covid death, when the patients died of something totally unrelated? Does the figures include the rise in suicides due to this whole situation? Does the figures include the people that go into hospital without covid but get put on a respirator and die? Does it also include the people that have been DNR’d
How can the lockdowns be fit for purpose if the numbers are still going up? It can’t be blamed on a Christmas dinner with family. Most schools have been closed well before Christmas, so they can’t be blamed. I think someone has been cooking the books instead of a turkey.
It’s amazing how the numbers went down after hundreds were photographed at the beaches in the summer or when streets were filled with protesters.
But that doesn’t serve the narrative. Reduced numbers aren’t going to encourage people to have a half baked vaccine. A half baked vaccine that the government have said pregnant or breastfeeding women can have but should weigh up the pros and cons. How is anyone to know what the cons are? Weren’t women told the morning sickness injection was safe? I think their children proved that it wasn’t.
What are the figures for flu deaths in 2020? Or has the flu disappeared since covid-19?
The media should be reporting the truth but yet they’re just puppets.
