TILBURY’S poor start to the season continued with a home defeat to Romford.
Goals by Michael Turner (33 and 51) secured all three points for the borough side.
Olly Miles pulled one back for the Dockers in the 88th minute.
The result leaves Tilbury in 12th place. They are already nine points behind the leaders.
They return to league action away at Saffron Walden on Saturday.
