A CAR has been found embedded in a window of a family run restaurant, causing extensive damage.
An image of the crash was shared on the Facebook page of Gino’s Taverna, on King Street, Stanford-le-Hope.

Police said a man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and taking a vehicle without consent.
The business said “luckily” no-one from the restaurant was injured, but the building had been damaged.
“Gives a whole new meaning to the phrase drive through,” the restaurant said on Facebook.
A spokesperson for Essex Police said the arrested man was taken to hospital but is now in custody.
“We were called shortly before 03:40 BST to reports a vehicle had been in collision with a building in King Street, Stanford-le-Hope.
