ARSONIST are believed to be responsible for a fire in a derelict church.
Firefighters were called to the empty building in London Road at 7.50pm on Saturday.
Two fire engines attended the scene and around 10 per cent of the church was alight.
The fire was out by 8.24pm.
An investigation is underway, but it is thought to have been started deliberately.
