CELEBRITY Chef Antony Worrall Thompson will be serving up a treat with borough pupils next week at IKEA.
The well-known TV chef will be dropping into the home furnishing store in Heron Way, West Thurrock, to open the branch’s new cook shop.
He will be joined by the students at Quarry Hill Primary School with a cooking demonstration.
His visit will be part of a day of special events to mark the £150,000 investment into the store.
Hannes Weber, IKEA Lakeside’s store manager said: “We are continually challenging ourselves to keep our shopping experience as fresh and inspiring as possible for our customers.”
Activities, which will also include free balloon giveaways and treasure hunts, will start at 10am
