ST CLERE’S pulled off a magnificent victory last night by winning a Glee competition at the Towngate Theatre in Basildon last night (Tuesday).
The team of students put in a performance that blended pitch perfect singing with acting and choreography.
The team showed considerable energy which was amazing as some had just stepped off the plane having been on a school trip to New York City.
Staff member in charge, Jo Nyland was ecstatic. Jo said: “I am so incredibly proud of these kids, they have worked tirelesly for the last 6 weeks and tonight it all paid off, they are a great bunch of kids with an enormous amount of talent!”
The team repeat their performance tonight at the Thameside in a special Glee event that begins at 7.30pm.
