0900 HRS
FIREFIGHTERS have been called to the scene of a road traffic collision involving two cars and a lorry.
The collision occured on the A128 between Bulphan and Orsett. One casualty is trapped in a car.
At 06:40 hrs crews reported that the casualty remained trapped and that they are using specialist cutting equipment to free the casualty.
At 06:48 hrs rescue operations were still in progress.
