Drum and Bass is definitely an acquired taste. To some the first sign of a sunny day in Grays is a P reg Fiesta being driven by an emaciated youth with drum ‘n’ bass blaring out.
But in the hands of Ricochet Banton, it is a fascinating art form where he blends old style rap with a Jamaican patois. In many ways it harks back to some of the punk sensibilities.
