A FIRE ENGINE limousine was in collision with a car leaving two females trapped just yards from a fire station this morning (Sunday)
Crews used specialist cutting equipment to free two female casualties trapped by their injuries following the road traffic collision.
The incident happened just a few hundred yards from Orsett Fire Station and involved a car and a fire truck limo.
Ambulance crews were on the scene and police called for traffic control and to investigate the incident.
Assistant Divisional Officer Tony Clark said: “The appliance involved is a party bus in service as a limousine and has no association with Essex County Fire and Rescue Service.”
The incident was dealt with by 10:15 hrs.
