THURROCK Council’s library service is supporting the education of children even before they start school by offering them free book sharing Treasure Bags from Bookstart.
The aim is help children become confident and eager learners. Each treasure bag contains:
Treasure: A Book of Ideas – full of top tips and guidance about sharing books and having fun together
My First Marks – a pad for children and adults to draw and write together
Colouring pencils
A red and blue messenger bag
Two picture books
Simply visit your local library to pick up the free Treasure Bag for your 3 year old.
