FIRE CREWS were called to tackle a blaze in a large industrial caravan at Industrial Chemicals, Hogg Lane, Grays.
Crews arriving at the scene reported that the caravan was well alight and that propane cylinders were involved in the fire.
At 03:21 hrs, the incident commander reported that firefighters wearing breathing apparatus were using one main jet and two hose reels to tackle the blaze.
The cylinders surrounding the caravan had been cooled and removed to safety and there was no other risk close by.
The electricity had been isolated and firefighting operations continued.
At 03:35 hrs, crews reported that the fire was now surrounded and steady progress was being made in bringing the incident under control.
The incident was dealt with by 03:53 hrs.

I wonder if Thurrock’s Conservative Association will now have to find new premises, perhaps they will now be accommodated and facilitated at ICG Ltd at Oliver road West Thurrock instead,
Because we know whilst Thurrock Conservative Association operated out of Hogg lane and Jackie Doyle Price ran her campaign from the same address Thurrock Council’s take on the matter was it was only used for storage even though it leaflets were distributed around the Borough promoting Hogg lane as their official address
Planning rules only apply to normal folk and not Tory Party donors.
Thanks Ed that was my whole point if you look into the investigation into joy redsel you will see when the matter was brought up about the lack of planning for Thurrock conservative associations offices at this site Thurrock Council made sure these offices were described as storage facilities even though donations and contributions described as rent for these offices were submitted
Even though everybody knows differently, also Thurrock Council decision is that no personal or prejudicial declaration has to be made in connection with this company by any Conservative in Thurrock, work that one out what is your opinion on it Ed
