SLHCC 1st XI v Billericay
Stanford won the toss and put Billericay into bat, a decision they would later regret.
Stanford took some early wickets, but Billericays middle order went on a run surge allowing them to declare after only 44 overs having amassed a whopping 281 for 7.
Stanford seemed a little stunned and in reply could only post 116 all out after 28.5 overs leaving them pinned to the bottom of Shepherd Neame Essex League Division 2.
West Essex v SLHCC 2ndX1

West Essex won the toss and invited SLHCC to bat. Alex Ellis top scoring with 58, Stanford struggled to score quick runs and chose to bat past the normal 52 overs, finally being all out for 149 off of 55.1 overs, thus forfeiting 2 batting points.
After the tea interval, Ben Tarten picked up 5 wickets for 41, and  in a tense finish West Essex got the winning runs with one wicket to spare in the 41st over.
Stanford remain in 3rd place in the 2nd XI division 2, some 18 points from second place Harlow, with 5 games of the season left to play.
