THURROCK Council’s Labour leader, John Kent was out and about in Stifford Clays at the weekend as he campaigns for Labour candidate Sue Shinnick.
He was also at the topping out ceremony at the Thurrock campus of South Essex College.
Cllr Kent was in ebullient mood at the ceremony and enthused about the opportunities the new college will bring.
Likewise, he was keen to get the Labour message across regarding regeneration as well as the challenges facing the borough.
I hate to say this and will probably regret it later but Mr Kent actually came across quite well in that interview, very positive about the borough and the leadership in youth training……….
Must go and wash my mouth out with soap now 🙂
