IT WAS a lovely day for a street festival and the crowds flocked to see a variety of acts on Grays High Street.
It is not very day that you see two mad professors walking down the street or a bit of medieval banter but that is the nature of a festival.
It co-incided neatly with the open day at the new campus at South Essex College.
