WE all know that Christmas is coming and Aveley is celebrating the Winter Festivities in style. We kick off with the Official Switching On of The Christmas Lights. Once again we will be joining with the pupils of Aveley Primary School and members of the Aveley Youth Centre and singing some Christmas Carol favourites followed by hot chocolate and mince pies back at the Centre. We will be meeting at the Christmas Tree in Aveley High Street at 4pm on Monday 1st December.
Our Christmas Market is back and it’s bigger than ever. We have over 50 stalls and entertainers coming with lots of ideas for Christmas Presents and gifts. There will be entertainment with singing and performing from Aveley’s Music4Change and other guest performers such as the Aveley & Newham Brass Band. Santa will be visiting and setting up his Grotto with free gifts for the first 250 children. And just to add a twist, we will also have some ideas if you are thinking about a New Year’s Resolution.
Aveley’s Christmas Market will be held on Sunday 14th December from 11am to 3pm in the High Street.
