THURROCK MP, Jackie Doyle-Price rose on the floor of the House of Commons to call for recognition of the Ghurkas.
Recently, Ms Doyle has been championing the cause of the Thurrock Ghurkas.
Ms Doyle-Price said: "Thank you, Mr Speaker. As we approach the 200th anniversary of Gurkha service in the British Army, will my hon. Friend look with sympathy on the recommendations made by the all-party group on Gurkha welfare so that we do right by these veterans of the British Army too?
