A TIRELESS octogenarian charity cyclist has been left distraught after having his bicycle stolen.
Chadwell resident Stan Wall was at the One Stop shop in Defoe Parade this morning (Tuesday). He left his £700 electric power cycle outside.
When he came back outside, it was gone.
Stan’s grandson, photographer, Rob Lay said: "Stan as eveyone knows has done the Thurrock cycle charity ride for many years, raising thousands of pounds for such causes as help for heroes.
"I went to see my grandad at his home and he was very upset. He was waiting for the police to come.
"The bike in the photo is the electric bike but Stan’s has a black basket on the front and powercycle written in green along the down bar.
"Any info please message me Rob Lay on Facebook or via twitter #thurrockrob.
