MONIES returned by former senior members of the Thurrock Thames Gateway Development Corporation (DC) are set to be used to fund the Thames Estuary Festival in 2016.
Members of the now defunct quango returned over £60,000 after a number of inquiries into payments.
But there is good news in the end as council leader, John Kent announced that part of the cash would go to the festival.
