POLICE have appealed for information following a disturbance at a music event in Aveley.
Officers were called shortly after 2am on Sunday September 28 after reports that a man had been slightly injured during a fight in the car park of Essex Sports Village in Purfleet Road.
A silver Mercedes car containing a number of men was seen leaving the car park at speed and joined the A13, driving towards Basildon on the wrong carriageway.
The car is believed to have caused a road crash in which a vehicle took avoiding action and collided with the central reservation. The driver was unharmed but badly shaken.
