LAST night we saw a document flying across the Twitter-sphere. It was called "Thurrock report-At the heart of the matter"
It appeared to be all about building the Thurrock community and it all seemed to be about sharing good news stories etc. We think it is all about the Stronger Together programme.
But we couldn’t help but notice that the glossy 22 page document made several references to Okendon, Averly and Little Bellas.
So we did point this out to the author of the tweets, Cormac Russell. We don’t think he was impressed with our pedantry and impudence (join the queue).
Mr Russell is the managing director of the Nurture Development. He replied" Aside from picking up on typos did the story strike you aw worthy of your attention?"
Mr Russell then went on to tell the on-line newspaper that has published over 20,000 stories about the Thurrock community in seven years that "He didn’t know us from Adam".
To be honest, we don’t think we helped when we signed off our message as "Your Furrock"….
