THE ESSEX air ambulance was called to Aveley this morning (Tuesday).
An ambulance spokesperson said: "We received a call at 9:53am today (13th October) to reports of a persons who had gone into cardiac arrest in the Beech Grove area, Aveley.
"We sent the Essex Air Ambulance, rapid response vehicle, ambulance officer and an ambulance crew who treated a male in his mid 50s.
"Fortunately, when CPR was taken into effect, the patient started to show signs of recovery. He was taken to Queens Hospital for further treatment"
