EMERGENCY gas works are being carried out by National Grid at the Ford Place junction of South Road and Stifford Road, South Ockendon following high gas readings in the area.
The works will continue until all leaks have been found and fixed.
Temporary traffic lights are being manually controlled while the work continues.
