THURROCK Badminton Club held a Badminton for Macmillan night on Wed 25th Nov to help raise money for the charity.
A spokesperson said: "We had our normal club night but with cake and a raffle.
"Altogether, thanks to everyone, we raised £176. Big thank you to everyone but a special mention to the Thurrock Badminton club itself who on behalf of the club made their own donation and who helped and supported in making the event possible.
Thurrock Badminton club runs every Wednesday night at William Edwards School, the is junior and senior sessions and all abilities play.
