THE LEADER of Thurrock Council laid out their plans to save the Thameside Theatre.
On Wednesday nights cabinet meeting, cllr John Kent detailed what looked like a positive set of proposals for the Grays complex.
The devil will be in the detail bit it appeared that the ruling Labour group showed their commitment to cultural provision in Grays.
But it was noted that the organisation that at the moment benefit from free rent at the Thameside may now have to pay.
