GET prepared to make some noise, gnash your teeth, roll your eyes and show your terrible claws at Thurrock Council’s libraries in June to celebrate Maruice Sendak’s “Where the wild things are”.
Chadwell Information Centre and Corringham and Grays libraries are the places to be on Saturday, 13 June with kids big and small with all activities starting at 11am.
Storytelling is only the start of the library of activities set to take place from 8 to 13 June, with lots more on offer including arts and crafts, activities and freebie treasure bags for three year olds.
June is also the month for the Festival of Learning.
As part of Adult Learner’s Week why not discover all the free stuff your library card opens up to you?
Why pay when it’s already available for free? Get to grips with your iPad or tablet with support from knowledgeable staff, discover your family history and explore the popular free magazines and daily newspapers you can read on your computer or tablet.
All events are free. Get singing, get stomping, get learning and have some fun this June.
