MORE than forty children became ‘Desert Detectives’ at St John’s annual holiday club this week.
The children gathered at the Victoria Avenue church and enjoyed games and craft activities, and drama and puppet shows each morning. Deafening their leaders with party horns, they toppled a large wall of shoe boxes, as they learned about Jericho.
Leader Ann Pinnock said: “The children always reward our hard work with their enthusiasm.
"It makes it fun for everyone.”
