BRADLEY, a Year 11 student at the Gateway Academy, recently took part in a charity sky dive to raise funds for his chosen charity, Southampton Hospital.
Bradley has been avidly running events inside and outside of the academy for the charity and has been waiting a few months to take part in the final piece of his fundraising, a tandem sky dive!
The charity is very close to Bradley’s heart after he needed to receive extensive treatment at the hospital whilst on a school trip. Bradley had to undergo long and daunting days of kidney dialysis.
During his stay at the hospital, he realised that they needed technology such as Ipads to make patient’s time easier to endure. This is where his fundraising passion came from. At the last count, Bradley has raised almost £3,500!
Bradley will be finalising his fundraising campaign with a special presentation to Southampton Hospital in October – watch this space to see the final figure!
