AVELEY were denied all three points at Scraley Road by a late Swifts goal.
Former Thurrock favourite Philip Anderson scored in the 86th minute after Pinto opened the scoring in the 9th minute.
The result leaves Aveley in seventh place, outside the play-off places on goal difference alone.
They return to league action on Saturday, away at Norwich United.
