A SOUTH OCKENDON man is set to stand trial over a number of charges in relation to downloading images of child abuse.
Robin Peter Glover, aged 28, of Broxburn Drive has been charged with the following.
1. On 01/01/2014 and 08/07/2015 at South Ockendon made indecent photographs, namely 1 category A and 7 category C, of children
2. On 01/01/2014 and 08/07/2015 at South Ockendon made indecent photographs, namely 6 of category C, of children.
3. On 01/01/2014 and 08/07/2015 at South Ockendon made indecent photographs, namely 6 of category A, 16 of Category B and 150 of category C, of a child.
4. On 01/01/2014 and 08/07/2015 at South Ockendon possessed an extreme pornographic image which portrayed, in an explicit and realistic way, a person performing an act of intercourse with a live animal, namely dogs and horses and which was grossly offensive, disgusting or otherwise of an obscene character.
5. On 01/01/2014 and 08/07/2015 at South Ockendon in the county of Essex possessed an extreme pornographic image which portrayed, in an explicit and realistic way, a person performing an act of intercourse with a live an animal, namely a dog and which was grossly offensive, disgusting or otherwise of an obscene character.
6. On 01/01/2014 and 08/07/2015 at South Ockendon you were in possession of a prohibited image of a child.
Glover has indicated a plea of not guilty.
A trial date at Basildon Crown Court of February 6th has been set.
