very sad, but it was an accident waiting to happen seeing the way many of these groups of young guys ignore the laws of the road and abuse other road users, doing wheelies and travelling on the wrong side of the road past keep left bollards at speed towards oncoming traffic.
Of course I hope the rider makes a full recovery, did it need an incident like this to make these young thrill seekers wake up to just how dangerous they make the roads around here.
Sad to hear but what do you expect. Every afternoon and evening in my road, its either quad bikes or motorcyclists pulling wheelies while overtaking other traffic and it seems to be getting more frequent within the borough. Police have little or no interest and are obviously waiting for a fatality to do anything. Id also like to know if these vehicles bikes etc are fully insured and the the drivers/riders are fully qualified!
I agree the groups are getting larger, more frequent and more daring.
