Keeping safe on the internet

THURROCK libraries are hosting Internet safety sessions for young people age 10-16 next week.

At Tilbury library on Monday 29 October, young people can attend to find out useful advice on how to keep safe online use Facebook, Twitter, and Skype, as well as chatting to people online, and how to set adequate privacy settings.

Thurrock Council are committed to rolling out these workshops so as part of our half term activities for students, further sessions are available at the following libraries,

Belhus and Aveley Tuesday 30 October

Stanford Le Hope and East Tilbury Thursday 1 November
