Hidden Talent Show: Lucy Chipperfield

MEMBERS of Thurrock’s Youth Action Team were in jubilant mood after scooping £5,000 of funding for a new youth project.

At a recent interview with Thurrock’s Youth Cabinet, team members, Amy Taylor, Aaron Mulqueen and Lucy Chipperfield secured the funding for their first community project entitled, Hidden Talent.

Team Mentor, Tracey Walker, said: “This is an amazing start for our Youth Action Team.

“Every single team member is completely dedicated to making Hidden Talent a success and given what they have accomplished already I am sure it will be.”

Hidden Talent is going to be a one-off talent show especially designed to encourage every talented teenager in Thurrock to stop hiding and unleash their talent, whatever it might be.

The main hope for the members of the Youth Action Team is for Hidden Talent to become the launch-pad for positive change in and around Thurrock’s youth community.
